The childreh's Methodical Center Christian Orthodox Education of a name Sacred prince Vladimir has opened the doors for children in October and was consecrated Metropolian Donetsk and Mariupol Illarion in November, 2000.

The Center builds the work on orthodox traditions of Ukrainian people, in the closest cooperation with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Under one roof about the Children's Methodical Center the Sanday school and the Temple sacred prince Vladimir function.

Employment in studios and classes will be carried out by the skilled teachers owning except for professionalism also frank qualities. Therfore they deservedly use love and respect of the pupils.

May, 2, 2001 it was visited by Blazhennejshy Vladimir, Metropolitan Kiev ahd all Ukraine, the prior of the Ukrainian orthodox church. With him accompainied Metropolitan Donetsk both Mariupol and Slavjansk, Metropolitan Odessa, Metropolitan Simferopol and Crimean Lasar and others hicrarchies the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. To activity the Children's Methodical Center Blazhennejshy Vladimir has shown special attention, for today such Center - unique in Ukraine.

The center works on the following directions: methodical, social, improving.

Methodical service.
Teachers of the Center work in conditions of experiment: they develop programs and approve them in teaching and educational process. The added and advanced programs will be transferred Sunday schools, which function at passes of the Diocese.

Programs are developed for:

1. "School of pious education of girls" - the rate is designed for 2 years.
2. "School of the orthodox teacher".
3. "School of spiritual education of children of 4 - 6 years".
The school also as well as two previous, is polysubject structure. To a methodical direction for workers of Sunday schools of the Diocese, scientific practical conferences for children and adults, session "Behind a round table", the edition of magazine "Golubka", creation of the Television project seminars "Concern to a temple", open employment and cultural mass actions also.

Social service.
This work of club of a large family "Family", the organization of Christmas and Easter holidays for inhabitants of Krasnoarmejsk and of region, visiting with the concert program of children's hospitals and kindergartens on the eve of sacred Nikolay's Day, creation of a series of lectures "Psychology of safety for belivers and non-believers" for miners of Open Society "The Coal company "Mine "Krasnoarmeyskaya - Western 1" conversations with invalids with the purpose of their psychological support on the basis of the orthodox doctrine, the action for veterans and invalids of region "Library at us at home".

Improving direction.
On base the Children's Methodical Center of Christian Orthodox Education it is traditional during winter and summer vacations, the orthodox camp, and in operates. In Slavjanogorsk we have an opportunity of improvement of children in the winter. Pupils of studio of knowledge of native edge "Sofia" become participants of ethnographie archeological expeditions.

The center constantly organizes and carries out numerous concerts, festivals, exhibitions, travels and other numerical humanitarian actions. In Easter and Christmas days creative groups of the Center visit teenagers in Mariupol corrective colony. In library of the center more than thousand readers. On its base pass seminars, lecture halls and other.

For all above mentioned activity the Children's Methodical Center of Christian Orthodox Education and a temble of sacred prince Vladimir are recognized as the best in nomination "For the centribution in spiritual education of region" at the international competition "The Gold Scything".

Prospects.
Welfare fund "Nadezhda", the Children's Methodical Center of Christian Orthodox Education plan to open an orthodox grammar school. We shall be deeply grateful to everyone who already has experience of the organization of an educational institution of such type and can help us councils.
